Digital marketing has become one of the most important aspects for businesses of virtually any size. Approximately 75% of search engine users don’t scroll past the first page of search results. From search engine optimization (SEO) and social media management to pay per click advertising (PPC), more and more companies are recognizing the benefits of these new avenues to attract customers and promote products.
One company in the fashion world that’s doing a particularly exceptional job at this is HandM. According to new data from Sprinklr, a social media management startup, HandM has the largest audience on social media and is the most engaging and most talked about of the fast fashion brands.
?In the age of connected, empowered consumers, all brands ? no matter the vertical ? need to take advantage of social media,” said Jenny Ryan, senior product marketing manager at the social media management startup that provided the data. “It?s the way customers collect and share information, and brands must figure out how to meet them on that level, in a way that makes the most sense for their products and offerings.”
There have been numerous recent studies and surveys that highlight the benefits of successful digital marketing and social media management. For example, 85% of retailers in one survey said search marketing (including paid and SEO) was the most effective customer acquisition tactic.
Consistent blogging is another great tactic for engaging people on social media. Every time a new blog post goes up on a businesses site they can post the link to their social media accounts with a brief synopsis to get people intrigued enough to hopefully take a look. On average, blogs are 63% more likely to influence purchasing decisions than newspapers and companies that blog more than 15 times per month get about five times more traffic.
The Sprinklr found that HandM’s social media audience is 30% bigger than its second place competitor, Zara.
